The Grassroots Cafe and Food Market

Strabane Community Project introduced the North West's inaugural Foodbank in August 2013 with the backing of the Trussell Trust.

Since then, this initiative has transformed into the Social Supermarket, providing more than just food assistance to our clients. We offer wrap-around services such as education, training, cooking classes, and budgeting support.

Adjacent to our Food Market is a welcoming cafe open to the public, serving warm beverages and light snacks.

Additionally, we offer room rentals for meetings.
